Let's go for a walk.

Sometimes the most meaningful conversations don’t happen sitting in a chair. Walking side-by-side can make it easier to open up, shift perspective, and reduce the intensity that sitting face-to-face can bring. Research shows that gentle movement can also improve mood, lower stress, encourage mindfulness, and spark creativity- all while supporting the therapeutic work you do with your therapist.

Our practice offers individual walk and talk therapy sessions, blending the benefits of movement, fresh air, and nature with traditional talk therapy. Your therapist will tailor these sessions to your unique needs and will strive to ensure confidentiality.

Sessions are paced to your comfort and adapted to the season and weather. Walks take place at Banner Forest Heritage State Park, which is about half of a mile from our office location. Parking is free and easily accessible.
